The people of the former United States of America has spoken this election day of November 4, 2008. They have voted for socialism. Which is ironic, since is the very thing that the former United States of America fought against for over 50 years. However, I believe that if you cannot beat them, join them. That is why I have created our new flag. Now let us prepare for the future.

In approximately 6 month, we should begin to see the following:

• Increased Fuel Cost
  Expect the government the begin targeting the oil industry heavily with taxes and regulation. The government will claim that this is necessary to force oil companies to look for alternative sources of energy. This will give the oil companies less incentive to explore for more oil. Most will likely they will move over-seas to escape the taxes. Millions of USSA jobs will be lost. Government will then step in and nationalize the USSA oil industry. They will most likely no longer explore for oil due to environmental concerns and become a foreign oil distributor. This will eliminate tax revenue and create a new government department that will cost the tax payers millions. I expect to see $10 or $15 per gallon gas in the next couple of years.
• Increased Energy Cost
  President Elect Obama has promised to declare war on the coal industry, shutting down all coal power plants in the USSA. President Elect Obama is no fan of nuclear energy either. What is left is hydro-electric dams and solar. Dams are currently under attack by the environmental lobby, therefore will most likely be reduced and no more built. This will leave the south western desert supplying the country with the majority of electricity with solar cells that should be ready with 50% efficiency by 2050.
• Increased Government Intervention
  It amazes me that people called the Bush administration Nazi's for listening on phone calls to terrorist countries. What the Nazi's actually did was to start getting involved in citizens' personal lives. They taught their children the ways of "the state." They told them where to live, what to eat, who to blame for their problems and even who to hate. They took away God and made God the government. The Obama government should start personal regulation very soon.
• National Healthcare
  The USSA will begin a national health care program. This was tried in Hawaii. What ended up happening, was that people dropped the insurance they paid for and joined the state program. The state program was bankrupt within seven months. President Elect Obama will solve this problem by passing off the cost to the employers. Many doctors and health care organization will now have one customers, the USSA. The USSA will set the price for all procedures, drugs and health aides. This is how Medicare today works. With price regulation and government control, all incentive to compete will be eliminated. The country will be divided into sections with a single company providing medical care for that region. With no reason to compete in the USSA, the drug companies will move overseas to escape higher taxes and regulation. They will then sell their new drugs to the government controlled companies at a higher profit. Again eliminating tax revenue much like they have done in Europe.
• The End of Entrepreneurs
  The majority of businesses in the USSA are small businesses. The majority of small businesses are sole-proprietors or LLCs. The businesses file with a 1040 form just like an individual. They will now have a huge increase in taxes if gross receipts are over $250,000. This should help them take time off from work or even close their business parts of the year if they are close or over the $250,000 mark. Also with being forced to provide healthcare for their employees, expect massive layoffs. Many small business provide health care for employees, but with government regulation the healthcare cost should triple from $3,000 per employee per year to over $10,000. Business will have few choices, raise the cost of their product or layoff employees or even close. This may not effect single person business owners as much. Larger businesses usually feed the smaller businesses with outsourcing. If larger businesses are not outsourcing as much, expect to the smaller businesses dry up.

Why are we now a socialist country?

I believe this motion was started in 1913 with the 17th amendment. This was put in motion by the progressive (early socialist) movement. This took the power away from the states and put it in the hands of the people. The reason are founding fathers gave us two houses of congress was to 1) represent the people (house of Representatives) and 2) represent the states (US Senate). This allow for one more balance of power. The founding fathers wanted to balance the government as much as possible. Their biggest mistake was not defining the judicial branch very clearly. This allowed the judicial branch to make their own rules. But with power hungry politicians come a lax in the rules. Politicians seem to make their own interpretations of the laws. Take for instance the separation of church and state. The first amendment clearly states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." How this has turned into a state or city not allowed to post the 10 commandments or display a nativity scene. How is congress establishing a religion? My guess is that it is not politically correct.
